Grammy Awards 2014, le nominations: l’Europa è soprattutto dance
Sono state diffuse le nomination per i Grammy Awards, gli oscar della musica internazionali, che saranno assegnati in California il prossimo 26 gennaio. Nel predominio americano, va un pò meglio all’Europa, che incassa diverse buone nominations. Su tutte quelle nella musica elettronica, dove continuano a farla da padrone gli artisti del Continente (ma dove manca, per esempio, uno come Avicii, dominatore incontrastato delle charts europee).
Non solo Regno Unito e Daft Punk, per una volta. Compaiono nomi meno noti al grande pubblico come il dj russo naturalizzato tedesco Zedd, la russa naturalizzata americana Regina Spektor, l’olandese Armin Van Buuren e la band metal danese Volbeat. Grande assente la musica latina: pochissimi artisti di lingua spagnola e c’è una sola altra rappresentante francese, la compilation del musical Les Misèrables.
Fuori dall’Europa, la neozelandese Lorde incassa cinque nomination ma in una di queste di scontrerà con uno dei pochi pezzi validi del panorama Usa in gara ovvero “Brave” di Sara Bareilles e in un altra con un altro pezzo pop molto valido,”Just give me a reason” di Pink ft Nate Ruess. Dopo il salto, tutte le nominations.
